@pieist Goodness knows this would be quite the breakthrough. If only it would go faster.

@BashStKid It's funny, I'm not trained as a chemist or chemical engineer, but I've long suspected that suitable battery chemistry was possible using safer and more common elements, and also wondered if the solution to the impracticalities of charging on the road could be to simply replace the electrolyte, as you would liquid fuel. So I feel rather vindicated by this story as it does both of those things.

@pieist As you can appreciate, the trick is having a pumpable something that behaves like a fluid that can be charged, and retain that charge when pumped.
