@ravenonthill These days I'm not sure they'd bother with paper at all. (Airlines have been issuing pilots with a pre-loaded and centrally configured iPad instead of a briefcase full of charts and manuals for years now. Worried about it breaking? Just pack a couple of spares—at < 1Kg each, tablets are a *lot* lighter than a teleprinter, or even a lightweight laser printer that's somehow space certified.)
