In response to the dismantling of the CDC, California, Oregon, and Washington have launched the West Coast Health Alliance, which will make their own science-based vaccine guidelines, and make sure vaccines are accessible to everyone.
@luckytran I don't like this. It shouldn't be just the west coast. It should be *all* the states who want sensible vaccination guidelines. Together we stand.

Yes. Worse is they way I hear some people insisting it should be called the Democratic Health Alliance. As if further entangling it with politics will do anything but harm. As far as I'm concerned if a purple state with a red Governor or red-leaning House wants to reject the Trump administration's dismantling of healthcare and join in, that'd be all to the good.
