Is Sci-Hub just a handy tool for accessing papers? Sure. But there’s more to it. @leonido and I argue that this illegal yet legitimate service played a crucial role in the broader #OpenAccess transformation: https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/01914537231203558 (English translation of a paper previously published in German)
I just have been made aware of Anna's Archive, which seems to supersede Sci-Hub

Saw it a few days ago, but had no time to check it out, yet. Thanks, this will be an additional push to go and give it a try!
AA have 13 mln more papers(98 vs 85mln), as it also mirrors libgen.
But, mostly, yeah, if there is no article on sci-hub, probably AA does not have it too.
