Wow! “Get YouTube Captions” plugin for now automatically adds timestamps you can click on to jump to the corresponding time in the embedded video. @logseq

@post I don’t use logseq.. but I’m wondering when it adds the timestamps. Arbitrary? Certain amount of words? Just curious.

@trinsec there is an option to set how many characters to put in each block/timestamp. Default is 1000, shown in the image.

@post @logseq Is the creator here on Mastodon? (I saw he has a Twitter presence, but I’m not there any more.) Now that the plug-in (nicely) breaks long transcripts into blocks, I’m wondering what the most efficient way to ask for a summary of a long video transcript would be.

I can easily summarize a single block ... but would like to summarize an entire transcript, if possible. (Aware of possible cost implications with OpenAI, etc.)
