Imagine: you're a student writing a lab report. Would you perhaps want to, I don't know, double-check that you're spelling the professor's name correctly? Or maybe, additionally, the name of the bacteria that you identified as your unknown? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You may want to inquire as to whether or not they have dyslexia. If so, then back off.

@prophetkristy How about writing in complete sentences, getting the verb tense correct, noun/verb agreement, ability to calculate a percentage...need I go on? I have a similar problem to yours.

@ChemBob I’d just like to know why it is so difficult to use the plural when talking about doing multiple testS on their bacteria.
Relatedly: do students have to pay for commas? Because I’m out of breath reading some of these reports.
