@AndreasAtETH Your local timeline is specific to the server you signed on to.
From what I have read, the apps have limited functionality. I prefer the web interface because LaTex does not get rendered on the app for the mathstodon server.
I also couldn't bookmark a post on the app but it is possible on the web interface.
