I don't have friends. It's funny to think how difficult it is to make new friends once you're in your 30's. Why do we make friends easily when we're young, and why is it difficult when we get older? Any thoughts?

@raining_night I see you have a person riding a motorcycle as your avatar. Is that you? If yes, have you ever attended a local 'bike night'? You'd find many people with at least one similar interest. Traithlon is another way to meet many people. Join a local club and you'll meet many: Swim/Bike/Run!

@alexchejlyk I'm part of a biking group in WhatsApp. But mostly i do solo rides. In the past 1 year I've done only one group ride. Somehow i don't feel connected with those people - mainly because most of them have a different mother tongue than mine. But your suggestion is a good way to make new friends, i agree.. thanks 😊

@raining_night I was also more of a solo rider when I had bikes. Groups would do things like wheelie down the street and I wasn't into that. I prefered quiet twisty roads where I could get a knee down. I see that you like tennis. Have you ever tried triathlon? Great fun and you start by just trying to survive the distance. Later on you compete with your own times. The community is phenomenal. Most people just want to help get you where you want to be.

@alexchejlyk That's interesting. I don't know how to swim, but i can definitely do the running and cycling. i googled triathlon to see if there are any events in Bangalore, the place where i live. No events seem to come up. I have seen some marathon events happening here, but too lazy to join those πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜” Thanks for the suggestion, though πŸ™
