I just finished my last commission and I'm currently without a job.
I'm not strapped for cash, but having an income would be nice.
A company here in Rome wants to hire me for a job I'm not interested in: I've been working in the field for over 5 years and I'm now an expert.
I'm now trying to change my professional fields, but this offer is really enticing since I would get a reliable income (something I never had) for a job I can easily do.
I'm a bit unsure about accepting the offer, mainly because I don't want to be a dick to them: I'll keep searching jobs even though I'll start working there and I doubt I will be staying there for more than 2-3 months.
This might create some problems to those guys and I wouldn't be happy about it

On the other hand, I would get 2-3 months of salary, which wouldn't be bad at all since right now I'm burning through my savings.

@rastinza how big that company is?

if it's a big soulless multinational I'd say go for it!

If it's a small company with very few people, it depends on the people you would cause problems to, and the amount of problems, I'd guess.

@valhalla
It's quite a new company, 5 years old or so with some 50 employees.
I'd be working in a team with other 3 persons who currently have too much work to do, thus I would be taking some work off of them.
When I go away their project will slow down and they will have to find another person to substitute me.

I don't think the damage to the company would be huge, but still it would be unpleasant
