I do not agree with you, while I'm all for the reduction of animal breeding I don't think restaurants should stop serving meat.
I do not think that killing animals is ethically wrong.
If that is your belief, that is totally fine to me, but I don't see why you should enforce it on other people.

Surely a lower consumption of meat and animal products would benefit the economy and resource management, but that is all I got.
I rarely eat meat, but I do enjoy doing that and I don't want people like you to prevent me from eating it.
Why I should not eat meat in a restaurant if I wish to?
If you do not like seeing meat in restaurants I advise you move to India: I lived in Gujarat where most of the population is vegetarian and you won't find any meat in restaurants.
