Sure, everything is federated and all, but at least when I'm looking at someones profile the toots should be retrieved, or at least I should be told that stuff is missing.
Even the subscribers numbers are wrong...
It often happens to me that when I open a profile it shows something like 50 followers (of which I'm the only one shown...) then you open the public profile and it's many more.
At that point I don't even understand where that 50 number comes from if my instance just knows about me being the only follower...

On mastodon cisti org everybody has 42 followers, and is following 42 fellows.

I don't really mind the number of followers, more about who someone is following and who is following him.
That's interesting because it allows you to find interesting people.

However, due to how the federation works getting that information is complicated
