made lentils and rice for lunch. I just really love lentils. they are the perfect food!

This was the third meal out of that batch of lentils.
Finished them now, but I already cooked some aubergines for dinner and tomorrow.
How did you make the gravy? It looks great!
@rastinza was just a slow cooking of red lentils with some curry powder and then afterwards it syarted breaking down I added one leek chopped up into rings and a few pieces of dried fish, some black sesame seeds and some mild hot peppers and a shot of olive oil. then let it simmer for another 15 min or so and served it over jasmine rice with a freshly chopped tomato. it was so good

Ok, then it's quite a normal cooking time; I guess you placed a lot of water in the pot
@rastinza under 30 in total. but also I didnt soak them first, if you soak them over night they need much less time
