I'd practice this on a very small scale; lot of things can go wrong that aren't stated in that recipe.
You can find good recipes to synthesize any famous chemical, go check those out before attempting anything and make sure you know exactly what could go wrong.
Have a plan to deal with things if everything goes havoc.
A good recipe for someone who isn't a chemist should have a large safety section, explaining how to operate the procedures in detail.
I mean, add to the beaker means nothing to someone who isn't a chemist: should you drip it in, add it slowly, add it all at once, add in small amounts over time?
I disapprove sharing stuff like this, people gets hurt attempting to synthesize innocuous molecules; immagine what can happen with high explosives...
Moreover, how easy is it to get concentrated nitric acid over there? Here it's possible, but not so obvious.

I'm not saying this can't be done, it's surely much easier than TNT for example, but people should keep safety in consideration
