@emberfiend Hello there, very nice to see cool people living in Galicia!
I've been in Vigo a couple weeks ago and it seemed quite a nice place to me, although a bit too big for my liking.
I'll be reading the articles you linked as those seem quite interesting for someone who spends most part of his day reading articles and writing notes about them with his glasses on.
I'm living in Santiago since June and I'm working on computational methodologies to develop new drugs.
@emberfiend I tried to live in many places. Unfortunately China is definitely the one in which I had no opportunity to integrate and understand the culture.
I was there working in a factory, building intercoms on the assembly line.
Due to the amount of work I didn't really have time to learn the language or understand the culture.
I used to talk with people with WeChat: you write in English and the message arrives directly in Chinese. That worked well enough and I even dated a couple girls with that 😂.
@rastinza Hey there, thanks for the message! I hope you find the articles helpful :)
You have a really impressive list of countries you've lived in. What was China like? Do you speak any Chinese or did you get by with translation tools?
