The housing corporation on the campus of @utwente is planning to replace all locks of ~2500 students living there with digital locks, that you can only unlock with your phone (via NFC).
Some students are very concerned about these plans, so I just went to the UT to talk with @Brian , one of the concerned students.
I'm very curious for replies with privacy / ethics arguments around these digital locks.

@erikkemp @utwente @bjacobs @marleenstikker @xot @Frederik_Borgesius @Brian cool, but the NFC thing... Never had a phone with NFC myself. Doubt students can afford expensive phones just to unlock their locks.
