@estoricru This works on some people. It worked on FDR. It will not work on me.
Here are some tips if you're going to target someone like me:
1. Tell multiple stories of multiple people, and hammer home the fact that multiple people suffer from these hardships and they're not isolated incidents
2. Assure them that you want to do more than just throw their money at the problem, and that what you propose will have a positive effect and minimal negative effect on others contributing and/or not affected.
3. Explain why it's good for everyone to take your suggested action.
@estoricru For instance someone like me might approach might consider your suggested solution and argue that the extra benefits cost extra money and the employer won't be able to support as many employees. If he (or she) decides to start offering these benefits while already in business, he (or she) will have to either raise the price of the product or fire employees.
