Part of me wonders if I could make for a good therapist

@realcaseyrollins
Seems to me that a therapist shouldn't characterize humanity as "good people" and "bad people." One would also not characterize the removal of a weeks-old zygote as "murder."
Those are fine as personal opinions, but would have no place in therapy itself, or really even in the mind of a good therapist.

Much of therapy boils down to helping people learn not to judge.

@sda Some form of judgement is in order.

How does one improve if they aren't allowed to judge their progress?

@realcaseyrollins

Judgement as in "Judge not, lest ye be judged."

Judging progress isn't judgement, it's "gauging progress," or "measuring progress."

It seems to me that your deflection might indicate a discomfort with a judgemental Casey. I wonder if it's the appearance of a judgemental Casey (what others think) or the fact of a judgemental Casey that bothers you.
