Today I'm setting up some lights and a few radio mics for the campus Christian Union. As I dropped things off they were gathering together to sing, songs of theology that I no longer agree with... but boy have I missed that gathering together with the sense of expectation, no matter how fake....

Tonight I have been in the pub with dear friends, drinking beer and eating pizza. It was good.

Yeah i've done plenty of following users from different instances. My understanding is that then creates a federated link between the instances, so that instance will then appear on my home instances federated feed, I'd hoped there would be a way to filter this down to a single instance feed, but it seems not.

@mike@social.theliturgists.com same. I find there’s stuff a miss here, but it very much depends what you use the other sites for. For discussion of ideas the fediverse is a great place.
