@cafkafk Originally introduction of compulsory education was a big driver of limitations on child labor. Do you think the situation is different enough that that would not be a problem, or do you expect some specific replacement to mitigate that?
@robryk non shitposty, if I had to live in a capitalist system, I'd like an universal basic income to prevent being forced into labor due to poverty. Labor should be a choice, the illusion that it has to be compulsory is just an illusion.
@thatguyoverthere@robryk I wouldn't expect it I'd stop doing fractional reserve banking by injecting money into the economy through loans and instead inject it through the universal basic income, and let the only way to control inflation be increasing the size of the ubi
@thatguyoverthere@robryk sounds good, might as well get rid of banks while we're at it and such, I'm just not sure how radical I can be without people saying I'm an idealist, and there's a lot of minor things that we can do that would still make like a huge impact even if we have to live in Capitalism™
@robryk the kids get universal basic income and the same rights as anyone else, if they wanna move out they should be allowed too, a classical statist move is too abuse familial piety but if there must be a state it should at least be set up in such a way as to protect the childrens autonomy and safety from abuse
