Is 1k people also the expected fill rate of a train, or its capacity?

@robryk @lamp @foxhkron With as many standing as seated, I think four cars of a train could manage around 576 people in one go.

However, this isn't referring to an ordinary train, but a link train: I think that's en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terminal. Per Wikipedia:

> They use a cable-hauled, drive and tension system. Each train has capacity for 175 passengers with baggage (25 per car: 17 standing, 8 seated) or 2,500 passengers per hour per direction (pphpd).

Ah, thanks, I couldn't easily find what train that referred to. This seems to indicate that one way or the other the value for the train is surely its capacity and not typical load.

That sadly makes this comparison dishonest. :(

@robryk @lamp @foxhkron Well, most trains I know are 6–8 cars, so the general argument holds (even if this specific case is bad).

Yes. This is the worst situation when one makes a wrong argument that tries to argue for something that's true.
