I'd like to learn more about the history of tourism and closely related topics (museums, hotels, resorts, leisure travel literature, etc.). Surprisingly the internet seems very useless at finding me a good book -- I either find short stuff that looks low-effort, or more specialized stuff than I'd like (focusing on a very specific time range or location).

Anyone happens to have good #book recommendations in that area? Mostly looking for exploratory/intro level stuff really.

You can get it inter-library-loaned from St Gallen or Chur to e.g. ETH library (or, for 6CHF more, via mail to you directly).

Hm~, I've never tried returning books to a library by post, but I guess they should be fine with that.

@robryk @mrothwell I'm pretty sure asjoyner once returned a book to the ETH library by posting it from the US!
