@coreyspowell Here is one that perturbed me more.

Once of the first big finds of space geodesy and Lageos gravity was post glacial rebound - the slow lowering of the oblateness (J2) of the Earth as the poles rise after the ice caps melted after the last ice age.

Now, in the last 20 years, this has _changed sign_ "likely due to changes in the rate of the global mass redistribution from melting of the glaciers and ice sheets"
