In March last year I managed to break my old Lenovo laptop and a friend convinced me that it was a bit long in the tooth and perhaps refreshing it would be a good idea. So I purchased a Lenovo T16 Gen 1.

(My eyesight can be pretty terrible so I really want a big screen)

But the T16 Gen 1 has been absolutely shit. Bad enough I'm considering binning it and getting a new laptop.

Why? It has terrible thermal management. It is constantly thermally throttling even under very very light load.
