24 August night saw #Ukraine HUR sabotage operation on #Crimea Tarkhankut peninsula.

HUR approached the peninsula on sea using speed boats and apparently targeted #Russia radar and radiolocation base hosted there. On leave, they also placed Ukraine flag on one of tourist bungalows (?) on the beach. To be honest, this is incredibly brave for HUR and equally embarrassing for Russians.

The operation coincided with air strikes against Russian air defense system S-400 located at the same peninsula, described in detail here:

Thanks for making me realize that there were two attacks (that the S-400 AD system was attacked earlier).

@robryk

S-400 was reportedly destroyed by long-distance "Neptun" missile, while HUR landing operation had an objective of destroying accompanying radars, S-300 and most importantly the military experts who operated these. Budanov today talked a bit more about this operation. And after looking at the map I've just realized they had to cross 170 km minimum on the open sea, assuming they left from Odessa.
