What a glorious idea, implementing emoji reactions by means of sending an essentially empty mail. And since there is no real way to opt out, I suspect that we’ll have to “opt out” via a Reply-To header.

@robryk No, I think the reactions are sent to everyone involved. So they are seen by everyone – as long as they use Gmail. People who don’t will see them as separate emails.
