Fun fact: Parasitic capacitance of an inductor coil is an unsolved problem in the general case, basically the only trustworthy textbook formulas are Maxwell's equations, all other approximations often fail. The problem is that "parasitic capacitance" is meaningless at RF, the inductor coil is not really a lumped coil but a transmission line, and when even that is inadequate, an RF resonator with an electromagnetic field that interacts with everything in complex ways. The "capacitance" does not come from the electrostatic capacitance between the winding turns. It took a single retired engineer to tell the whole Internet these facts before he passed away. Curiously, the history of this subject included even a case of possible data forgery.https://g3ynh.info/zdocs/magnetics/appendix/self_res/self-res.pdf #electronics
Ah... at a single frequency.
