I don't think there's such a thing as "necessary cookies."

@bitcrush_io I 99% agree. Assuming a world where nobody *wanted* to track people, the remaining use for cookies would be for sites you're logged into. The alternative to cookies I know about is browser local/session storage, but there are security tradeoffs between the two.

For a site you aren't logged into, yup, no necessary cookies.
