Okay so yesterday I learned that for about 2000 bucks you can buy a 19-foot catholicism grade steeple and that I may be getting about 2000 from a class action lawsuit and I’m so conflicted about where I’m supposed to put my new steeple

@erl what's a _catholicism grade_ steeple?

@robryk it means it’s holy enough for god to sleep in

@erl you mean a steeple as in the tower that is often placed on top of a church and might sometimes contain a bell?

@robryk so the bell goes in the bell tower, then often they add a tall pointy steeple on top. So the pointy bit is $2k

@erl @robryk Are there any building laws that say you have to install it pointy bit up? I mean, imagine the effect of having it stuck horizontally on top of a side wall. Or jauntily at some roguish angle from your rooftop.

@crone @robryk my lease says that im not allowed to install anything to outdoor surfaces so I think ill put it horizontally in my living room as a statement piece
