another networking poll: how confident do you feel that you understand how UDP works?
also i’m curious: how would you say UDP works? especially interested in answers from people who said they're unsure / confused
(as usual please no arguing or telling other people they're wrong, I'm just curious about people's different impressions)

Hmm... it's hard to answer this question, because it's hard to tell what level I should assume.
If I assume IP will unreliably transport packets to another host, UDP just wraps data together with a source and destination port numbers, and creates a convention on how to address a response packet.
