This makes sense IMO: it tries to translate the register of the original writing. "Do"/"do" tells you whether ~anything should be capitalized in that register.

Google translate takes the capitalization of "Do" as a hint of the writing style it should use. If "do" is not capitalized, it will be all lowercase, since it assumes this is a low effort message or whatever, and is not intended to have proper capitalization.
