n.b. injections work well for me, but other people prefer sublingual pills, patches (like the nicotine ones but for hormones), or gels (topically applied for transdermal absorption).
there's a lot of options; in my case I don't mind the needle thing - it was spooky at first but I got used to it quickly - and it becomes a calendar reminder instead of a daily thing.

hrt injection - I take my hrt via intramuscular injection, usually every six days.
