Bought a fancy new kettle with target temp control today, and I was reminded once again of how °C is really just as terrible as °F. "Water freezes at 0°C and boils at 100°C" no actually it boils at 98.5°C here, sorry for your round number aspirations, reality has other plans.

@delroth well, that's what you get for calibrating your kettle in the mountains!

@olasd 450m elevation isn't really "in the mountains", it's barely 5% of the max ground elevation on Earth! :p
