One of the most interesting Twitter revelations of the day -- more a confirmation than a revelation -- is that the $4B of TSLA Elmo sold the other day (down big since he bought Twitter) he sold to keep Twitter afloat. So effectively he has now paid $48B for a company worth less than $20B.

Twitter just lost heads of security and compliance… Feels like the migration to Mastadon is on in earnest. Now I’m really curious to see what big tech and large media platforms do, the opportunities are huge. I suspect the culture here around things like CWs is about to get absolutely steamrolled by all the new users, too… and someone will start building the features Mastadon doesn’t want to: search etc. It’s going to be an interesting six months.
