@rw Think it is because your posts are no longer on the read.write.as feed so you are getting less referrals.

@rw same as Luke’s comment, i believe the drop in readership is due to no longer posting on the read.write.as feed. Some people follow the rwa feed itself instead of following individual blogs. I ran an experiment before where i unlisted my blog, which meant my posts wouldn’t show up on the rwa feed. The drop in readership was significant.

@dino @Luke many thanks for the feedback. I think you are right and will try posting again to the RWA page and see what that does to the metrics.

Certainly, it is clear ‘cross posting’ is necessary to build a readership, else it is just a lone site blogging to the wilderness.

@rw I read you on my RSS reader, so the platform you blog on does not affect me. Unless you turn RSS off.
