Don't you think AUTOMATIC11111 Webui looks a bit too old fashioned
@nop Yeah something like that!
It's like what you said with the winamp skins, it looks like designed by a programmer and not by a designer. Software like that ends putting function over looks, which is what happens here and in most internal software by companies designed by the IT department
@ryuichi WebUI is built on a framework called Gradio. It seems to be able to perform layout automatically without detailed settings, for example, where to place buttons.
Therefore, it is not possible to decide the design in detail, but it has the advantage of being flexible when they want to add extensions and increase the number of items on the screen.
So it may not look cool, but it may be scalable.
@nop well, in the end it makes sense for the UI to be like that. StableDiffusion has so many knobs and switches that can alter the outputs in many ways and you most of the time are tweaking all of them to get a good result, so a simple website may not make too much sense after all.
@nop but yeah, the design reminds me something from the late 00s, early 10s
@ryuichi I think so. It looks like something you might see on a computer screen in a anime from that era.
@ryuichi Similar to a company's internal website
