@levisan ah, well, that right already exists, it’s just trumped by exemptions to prevent prejudicial treatment in certain ways, like based on religion, sex, etc. which i’m grateful for tbh! where i grew up folks would be turned away from places for being christian, for example. glad it’s not like that here

@levisan i know there’s grey area cases — like say a gay baker objecting to doing a cake with a christian fundamentalist message (or vis versa 😉). i can see where things can get taken too far. where do the rights of the baker begin and the rights of the customer end? but the basic arrangement to me is better than any alternatives i can imagine
