Why does everyone want to use Asana? It’s the worst.

@mike asana’s not great, but it’s far from the worst! i speak as someone who has been on teams using everything from wrike to teamwork projects to jira to airtable

@sabbatical it’s a bit of hyperbole, for sure. But of the software I interact with regularly at work, Asana is my least favorite.

@mike i wouldnt choose it, for sure! thankfully the team i do web dev/IT work for recently switched from asana to notion! i've been running a notion kanban in parallel to whatever other software my teams have used to keep things straight for myself for ~6yr now, so i'm a happy clam

Which is your favorite? What is better than Asana? I'm testing Clickup, but I feel like it's overkill for what I need.

@christopher it depends on what we’re trying to accomplish. But over the past year or two, almost every project I’ve been a part of at work ends up in Asana.

I would rather we use P2, GitHub Issues, or a shared Google Doc.
