I’ve been finding this lately the idea of investing in the right tool for the job makes all the difference. My dog has mangled my back screen door, head butting his way through it. It has been broken for years and I even took it to get professionally replaced maybe 4 years ago. For whatever reason they never did the bottom edge of the door, while sealing the other 3 edges. So the dog just started bulldozing through. I’d tried to fix it by hand or screw driver, but it never really worked well.

So on the weekend I bought a screen tool. Is kinda like a small, blunt pizza cutter, if designed by Darth Maul. Well this thing works like an absolute charm. Was able to get the rubber lining shoved in no problem, and properly install the bottom lining in like 5 minutes. While it is a single purpose device, I do at least have it the next time my dog decides to break on through to the other side
