@niclake Sorry to hear you got laid off, man... So many guys I know (hm, and actually all guys, weirdly enough! hah) have had this happen lately. I myself had my main freelance contract cut drastically as well.
@sabbatical it’s rough out there for sure, especially as the only income source / insurance.
@niclake Yeah similar here, though my wife does have some work cleaning houses. At least we still have basic medical covered by the socialized health insurance here, thats gotta be a whole other level of stress.

Lead/senior eng roles - I’m full stack with a backend focus, been using Ruby for the last 7 years
