@ppmanik Superconductivity at room temperature is still on the experimental stage and is a long way from any practical contribution. Yes, thorium is radioactive but it is unlikely to be useful as the critical temperature is -112 C. The importance of this breakthrough is that humanity will have a better understanding of the physical parameters responsible for this phenomenon.
