If you run Apache httpd, you do *not* have such. Since 2016, we have measures in place that limit clients in how they can pull our chains.

This attack pattern will waste cpu on your httpd, but it will *not* hit your backends.

In addition, nghttp2 will make a release that limits the cpu waste.

Die #schokofahrt von #Amsterdam nach #Berlin ist für mich auch immer eine schöne Fahrt, um einen kleinen Beitrag zu #openstreetmap zu leisten. Mit #Streetcomplete kann man dabei wunderbar unterwegs Wegoberflächen, Bordsteinabsenkungen und einiges mehr bearbeiten/ergänzen, was die Routenplanung für die Zukunft verbessern kann.

The bloodiest software design sins I've seen, by a wiiiiiide margin, were done in the name of avoiding repetition.

Not deadlines. Not requirements change. Not performance. Not workarounds for glitchy dependencies. Just an overdeveloped distaste for "repeating" any work that has even the barest hint of incidental similarity.
