You guys do realize that the value of the #fediverse is in the people running the instances and the users of the instances - the codebases have NO VALUE without these.
People look at what you talk about and don't be a prat :)

@hamishcampbell actually, I would say the power/value is in the distributed / decentralised network. No one admin/instance controls the network, and neither does one dev team, with multiple ActivityPub implementations. You need all categories (software, instances, users), but all are decentralised.
@sgryphon the point I am making is "users, instance admins, coders" are the people who make up the #fedivers... notice the shifting of the order of the list.
Now go look at the dominant agenda we talk about on the #fedivers, and you will see the order as you write it dominates all conversations. This "common sense" is a failing of the possibility of a alternative and a part of why the #dotcons still exist, a #geekproblem
