According to WotC:

- OGL 1.0a will remain unchanged

- SRD 5.1 is now licensed under Creative Commons in its entirety

At least at first blush, I'm only seeing good things in this announcement, and proof that they've listened to the deafening roar of those survey results.

One thing I'm fascinated to see is what comes of the following being mentioned in passing -- not in stat blocks, mind, but still present -- in the newly Creative Commons-licensed SRD 5.1:

- Beholders
- Mind flayers
- Slaadi
- Count Strahd von Zarovich

@martinralya although not that CC does not give patent or trademark rights, so there are still limits. CC also reserves integrity rights, so if you use it to produce something abhorrent you can still get sued.
