Making a character for Court of Blades, a Forged in the Dark game of court intrigue and romance. I'm excited to have an opportunity to trot out one of my favorite character archetypes, which is also highly situational: "spy who spends so much time being other people they don't remember who they are."

@konahart generally playbooks for FitD are not meant to be classes, so you can generally mix and match powers as needed (maybe talk to the GM).

Also, have you read the Stormlight Archives? One of the main character matches your trope (but they do use mystical powers).

@sgryphon Court of Blades only has one "Veteran" slot (which is the special ability that lets you take a move from another playbook). It was 3 (like BitD) in a previous version, and the remaining dot is in an odd spot, so it's possible that's just a "misprint," but it does seem to imply less mixing-and-matching is expected than other FitD games.

@sgryphon I have read Stormlight Archives, but it's been a while so I don't remember which character that is.
