I didn't pay attention to mermaid support in GitHub when it came out github.blog/2022-02-14-include but I should probably start using it more in my docs, the integration in GitHub is pretty nice.

@xoofx is good, especially the inline support and it does good / source control diagrams. Mostly however I still use because it has better support and icon libraries for and

@sgryphon but it is not supported on GitHub, which makes it a lot less appealing. Also, their website is so packed with ads that it makes me run away 😅
