Hi everyone, here is my little #introduction here on Mastodon.

I am a professor of Statistics at Stockholm University. I like statistics. A lot. Especially the Bayesian kind.

I also love programming, although I have much less time for it these days. I will post about my favorite language #julialang as often as I can. Love it!

@matvil Will be looking forward to it.

In the meantime, any good resources recommendation for Julia? Starting with the Basics to Data Science.

@matvil @shibaprasad you might like this, I created it for my colleagues coming from python

@rhgrouls @shibaprasad did you forget the link? (or am I not understanding this Mastodon thing yet 😂)

@shibaprasad The Julialang site has a page with resources: julialang.org/learning/

I recently read the first chapters of Julia for Data Analysis:
manning.com/books/julia-for-da

which eventually goes deep into dataframes and data wrangling.
