@TheUSASingers@union.place I'm hoping. My generation, the hippie / anti-war generation, likely still the most educated and aware of history, politics, government corruption, and U.S. intervention in foreign countries generation -- and what did we do when we grew up? We put on suits and ties, went to Wall Street, and used our knowledge to create billionaires and the biggest financial nightmares the world has ever seen. The cost of which we're only just starting to see.

So, while I hope, my long-term confidence in human nature is low.
