The sickest and most demented thing about the Donald Tr*mp/E. Jean Carroll case is you know 45% of the country will vote for him anyway. This changes nothing. He could shoot their mother in the head, then piss on the corpse. He'd get their vote.
I can't think of a single Democratic politician I'd vote for, male or female, who did even a hundredth of what Cantaloupe Caligula has done. Not a single, fucking one. #politics
@feverspell Yes, it's a great insight into human mass-psychology. Roughly half the human population cannot be relied upon to act rationally. However, they can be relied upon by people like Joseph Goebbels and Edward Bernays.
@shuttersparks I honestly don't understand the appeal he has with these people. I don't. He's not attractive, he's not charismatic, he's not intelligent, he's not funny, he's not athletic, and he's not nearly as wealthy as he claims to be. There's nothing about him that would make me throw a quarter in his cup if he were a bum on the sidewalk, much less vote to give him the nuclear launch codes.
@feverspell He berates certain groups (immigrants, foreigners, POC, gays, liberals...) and that makes his base feel good about themselves. If you make people feel good, you will succeed as a politician. Truth and results have nothing to do with it.
As I mentioned in another post today, as Lyndon Johnson put it: "Give a man someone to look down on and he'll empty his pockets for you." He'll love and follow you forever. That's what Trump does, constantly.
