@N0ZB@mastodon.radio @k8ket @megahertz Yes. It's a pleasant relief to hang out with polite considerate CW operators.

Considerate and friendly #MorseCode operators do exist and are a pleasure to work. I fondly remember quite a few niiice QSOs (in my case, often with ops from the United Kingdom).

Unfortunately, CW also has its share of jerks. For an extreme example: In a recent contest, my attempt to QSO with a Russian station was spoiled by someone who kept sending "putin" on my QRG (no callsign). The more typical CW jerk will simply not heed QRS requests.

@dj3ei @N0ZB@mastodon.radio @k8ket @megahertz I'm sorry to hear that. I spend all my time on CW these days and, outside of contests and DX pileups, haven't yet encountered a "jerk".
