I’ll admit it. I haven’t paid close attention to the GOP primary, with Trump so far ahead of his rivals. But a shift in support and a big endorsement caught my attention. Today I talk about Nikki Haley, her policies, and what it might mean if she won. open.substack.com/pub/statusku

Nikki Haley hates unions, public education, and healthcare.

@Npars01 @jaykuo She wants power and wants to win. She sees the Republican road as the easiest path to power so she parrots those parts of the Republican platform she thinks will best further that goal.

It's as simple as that. Nothing about her is genuine.

@Npars01 @jaykuo But why? I'm sure she's never worked a union job or a job where a union was needed. Never worked a job where she was taken advantage of by her employer. So she has no idea why unions exist.

@shuttersparks @jaykuo

Republican libertarians believe all efforts at collective action is "communism"and therefore suspect

Labor rights. Public schools. Pollution controls. Rule of law. Taxation. Regulatory oversight. Fiscal guidance. Social safety net. Public health. Government. Gun safety. Voting. Democracy itself.
